use another figure's data: ·
rename, fix types, tag what each column is. Tagged roles pre-fill your figure mappings.
cohort / group column: — give each cohort a clean display name
if a measurement is split across columns (e.g. hr_0, hr_30, hr_60),
tick them to fold into a tidy timepoint + value pair.
·
edit the data directly — every change flows to the figure (and is saved). Click a cell & type; Enter/Tab to move; paste a block straight from Excel; × on a row/column header removes it. ·

variations of this figure (each an independent specimen with its own copy of the data): ·
overlay sheets onto this figure: — enable other datasets to combine them on one plot; disable to remove (their styling is kept for next time)
Lock a colour & marker (and optional line width) for each cohort across the WHOLE project. Every figure uses these unless it overrides one — change a colour here and it propagates to every figure that didn't. An AI agent you hook in is told to use these as the locked cohort identities too.
give each cohort its own color, symbol & line.
tip: put the same number in the grp box on two or more cohorts to
pool them into one cohort — their rows are combined (n adds up) and the
merged cohort takes the name & styling of whichever is highest in the list.

reference lines (e.g. a dashed y=50 threshold) & free text. For a line, the 2nd number positions its label; for text it's the x,y. Sliders calibrate to the axis range.
rename any axis tick by typing over its box — it relabels just that tick (anything goes: parentheses, units, mixed text). Type \n for a line break (e.g. Day 0\n(baseline)). Clear it back to the default to remove the override.

only knobs you touch are written into the spec — everything else stays on the house default. Groups tagged this chart are specific to the current archetype.
